Was married for 19 years before we separated. We separated because of a domestic assault. He was charged. I have sole custody, he can have supervised access. He refuses medication for mental illness. He suffers from psychosis and refuses treatment. This makes him unable to find and keep work. He doesn’t pay child support. He has made a claim for spousal. I’m so afraid I may have to pay him. I don’t make enough to support him, myself, and my two kids. Anyone familiar with this situation. If he took his meds, he would be functioning. He does not have a terminal or incurable disease. He was not mentally ill during the 19years of marriage. Advice appreciated.
