Jay Pasternack has been in the field of substance abuse, mental health and health promotion for the past 20 years. Jay is a graduate from McMaster University, Addiction Studies Diploma Program. As well, he is a graduate of the George Brown College, Human Service Counsellor Program, specializing in Mental Health.
Holding the position as the Youth Outreach Manager for the Donwood Institute and later the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Jay has been an integral part of developing and implementing Health Promotion strategies for both the public and private sector presenting over 500 motivational presentations to schools, parent groups, teachers, counselors and private sector organizations.
Jay is currently dividing his time between his private practice as counselor and Clinical Director of New Life Counselling Services and Alcohol and Drug Concerns Inc.
