Ryan Osbourne

Ryan is a settlement focused collaborative family lawyer and mediator. Ryan works to help clients feel understood. He believes that dealing with a family law situation is already stressful enough and that it’s his job to help reduce the stress – not make it worse. This way his clients can focus on taking care of themselves and moving forward with their lives.

After fighting it out in court for many years, Ryan learned that this was not always a good solution for his clients or himself. Ryan began practicing collaborative family law because it helps people make their own decisions and is usually faster, cheaper, and healthier.

Ryan’s practice includes all aspects of family law including Separation and Divorce; Support; Parenting; Independent Legal Advice (ILA); and Legal Coaching and Unbundled Services. He studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School and has completed his collaborative and mediation training. He also coaches Ryerson Law’s Client Consultation Competition Team.
