We understand that with the pain of divorce comes those anxious feelings of being alone.
Filling the void can be tough but try your hardest to remember the anxiety dissipates with time.
The more you get comfortable with yourself and your new normal the better your alone time becomes.
So often we hear about new relationships that form right after the separation. This can be a normal reaction to the fear of being on your own. But it is important to know you are better in a new relationship once you have had a chance to heal and grow. And usually we hear these “rebound” relationships don’t last.
We know it is easier said than done.
Try to have faith in yourself and enjoy those quiet moments. Grab a friend and go out for the night but also try to love the time you have to yourself and use it to do the things you never had time for before.
